# How do I set up static residential proxies?

It's a very simple process and with our quick start guide, you can do it in just a few steps. 

1\. Sign up for a 711Proxy account. 

2\. Choose a static residential proxy plan that suits your needs. 

3\. Configure your proxy request with username/password authentication. 

4\. Run your tasks carefree, with the comfort of sticking to the same IP all the time. 

For ISP IPs that require a longer commitment, we recommend renewing before the IP expiration date to guarantee uninterrupted work.
