# Why can't I renew my Static Residential ISP proxies?

An IP cannot be renewed due to one of the following reasons:

1\. The IP address has expired: For long-term ISP IPs, you need to renew the IP address within its lease period to guarantee normal operation. Once the IP address expires, you will not be able to renew it.

2\. Unstable operator connection: In rare cases, when the ISP operator experiences unstable connections, we will temporarily take down the operator to avoid causing you losses due to being unable to use the service after renewal.

In such cases, we recommend that you purchase a new proxy to continue using our services. If you have any other concerns, please contact us via live chat on our website for assistance, and our support team will help you resolve the issue.
