# Getting Started

711Proxy provides API (IP Whitelist) and username/password authentication methods to help users configure proxies. Both methods support all proxy products, including residential proxies, unlimited rotating proxies, static residential proxies and SOCKS5 proxies. No matter which type of proxy you purchase, you can configure it via API or username/password.
