# How to Use 711Proxy Mobile Proxies?

711Proxy supports mobile proxy authentication via either **API (IP Whitelist) or Username/Password**. You can review our[ Authentication Methods ](/proxies/proxy-configuration-parameters/authentication-methods.md)to familiarize yourself with these concepts.

To configure your proxy, navigate to the **Mobile Proxies ＞ Proxy Setup** section on your dashboard.

Below, we will guide you through the configuration methods for both Username/Password authentication and API (IP Whitelist), complete with detailed screenshots and clear instructions.

### Username/Password: Get Proxy List via User Authentication

Using this method requires a sub-user. Upon registering with 711Proxy, the system automatically generates a default sub-user for you. If you wish to use a new sub-user to get proxies, please create one in advance under [**Manage sub-users**](/proxies/proxy-configuration-parameters/sub-users.md).

1\. **Access Configuration:** Click to enter the "Username/Password" dashboard to configure access parameters.

2\. **Select Country/Region:** Choose the proxy source country/region, or select a random location.

3\. **Select Sub-user:** Select the sub-user that requires proxy access. (The corresponding username and password will serve as your authentication credentials for proxy access.)

4\. **Authentication Credentials**: Displayed here are the username and password corresponding to your selected sub-user, which serve as your authentication credentials for proxy access.

5\.  **Select Session Type**:

● **Rotating IP**: Automatically changes the IP address with every new request sent through the proxy.

● **Sticky IP**: Maintains the same IP address for **5 to 180 minutes.**

● **Note:** If you enable **"Change IP in advance"**, the system will proactively switch to a new IP based on its actual availability. If you select **"No"**, the IP address will remain unchanged throughout the sticky duration and will only rotate once the session expires. 6\.  **Choose Proxy Host:** Select the proxy host closest to your network's IP address for optimal performance.

7\. **Test Command:** The test command is a cURL example that you can paste into the command line to quick test your proxy settings. You can learn more on the [Test Command](/proxies/proxy-configuration-parameters/testing-command-curl-example.md) page.

8\. **Generate Proxy List:** In the "Get Proxy List" section on the right, select your preferred output format and the required number of proxies. Click the "Generate" button to view the generated proxy parameters in the list below.

9\. **Export & Use:** You can copy the parameters to your clipboard or export them as a TXT or CSV file. Then, configure these proxy parameters into your third-party applications or tools to start using the proxy.

10.**QR Code Configuration:** You can scan the QR code to quickly configure the proxy parameters into third-party applications or tools.

### API: Get Host:Port via Whitelist Authentication

1\.  **Access Configuration:** Click to enter the "API" dashboard to configure access parameters.

2\.  **Add IP to Whitelist:** First, add the IP address that requires proxy access to the whitelist. If you have already done this, you may skip this step.

3\.  **Select Location:** Choose the country/region of the proxy source, or select a random location.

4\.  **Enter Quantity:** Input the required number of proxies, which must be any integer between 1 and 900.

5\.  **Configure Format (Optional):** Choose the proxy protocol, data format, and delimiter based on your needs, or keep the default selections.

6\.  **Select Session Type**:

● **Rotating IP**: Automatically changes the IP address with every new request sent through the proxy.

● **Sticky IP**: Maintains the same IP address for **5 to 180 minutes**.

● **Note**: If you enable "**Change IP in advance**", the system will proactively switch to a new IP based on its actual availability. If you select "No", the IP address will remain unchanged throughout the sticky duration and will only rotate once the session expires.

7\.  **Generate URL**: Select the proxy host closest to your network's IP address, and then click the "**Generate URL**" button.

8\.  **Export and Use**: Copy or open the API URL on the right side, and configure it into your third-party applications or tools to start using the proxy. (The proxy format retrieved via API is Host:Port. You can learn more details on the [API URL](/proxies/proxy-configuration-parameters/api-url.md) page).

**Note**: The IP addresses displayed in the list are proxy host server addresses, not the actual target proxy IPs utilized during execution.

When setting up your proxies on a browser extension, it is recommended to use the HTTP protocol, rather than SOCKS5.
