# Host and Port

The proxy host and port are two required values in the proxy string used to configure your application or device to connect to the internet via the proxy server.

The proxy host options that we currently provide are as follows, global.711proxy.com is the default option, you may also choose the closest server based on your network IP address to ensure optimal connection:

Different proxy products are assigned with different port numbers, you may match your billing plan by modifying the port number, please make sure you use a port number that matches the type of proxy product that you would like to use:
