# Traffic Usage Settings

Traffic usage settings is a feature that helps you efficiently manage the traffic usage in your account.

**You can enable this feature on your proxy dashboard by following these steps:**

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Log in to your proxy dashboard.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Navigate to the "Residential Proxies-GB" section.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Locate the "Usage Settings".
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### **Feature 1: Traffic Reminder**

When your proxy traffic is running low, a reminder email will be sent to your registered email address. This helps you track your traffic usage and recharge in time before running out. For example, if your account has 100GB of traffic, you can set the threshold to 10GB.

To disable the Traffic Reminder, switch the Traffic Reminder status to Disable and click on the "Submit" button.

### **Feature 2: Usage Limit**

You can set a threshold as needed (with units selectable in GB, MB, or KB). For example, if your account has 100GB of traffic, you can set the daily usage limit to 10GB. Once the total traffic used by the master user and sub-users (if any) reaches 10GB, no further traffic consumption will occur for the day.

To remove the limit, simply delete the entered number and click the "Submit" button.
