# Firefox

Before integrating a proxy into Firefox, please make sure you have set up the proxy correctly to guarantee that the proxy service will work properly.&#x20;

1\. Open Firefox.

2\. Click the Applications icon on the right side of the address bar and select Add-ons and themes from the drop-down menu.

3\. Search for proxy extensions, such as SwitchyOmega, in the Add-ons Manager, or choose your usual extensions to add to Firefox.

4\. After the installation is complete, click the extension icon on the right side of the Firefox address bar to open the installed proxy extension.

5\. Add proxy setting information such as proxy protocol, proxy server, proxy port, username, password, etc. in the Proxy extension, and then save your changes.

6\. Detect your IP through the browser, the current IP address and proxy IP is the same, it means that the proxy setup is successful.
