# IPBurger Proxy & VPN

Before integrating a proxy into IPBurger Proxy & VPN , make sure you have set up the proxy correctly to guarantee that the proxy service will work properly. Click here to see how to set up the proxy.

Tips: Before using the plug-in, add the local IP address to the IP whitelist

1\. Click the IPBurger Proxy & VPN icon and click Settings

2\. Select HTTP as the proxy protocol, enter the hostname and port extracted through the API, and click SAVE

3\. After saving, the proxy will be detected automatically, and the current IP location will be displayed after successful detection

4\. IPBurger Proxy & VPN icon turns on, proxy configuration is successful；If the icon does not light up, reconfigure or set to turn on
