# IP Location Mismatch

Each IP checker uses a different IP database when checking your IP, this is why you may get different results on different websites. However, many databases provide inaccurate IP information and are updated at a different pace.

To ensure accuracy, we recommend cross-verifying with at least 3 authoritative databases and prioritizing actual business usability over single geographic identifiers. (Note: Mainstream IP databases have update cycles of 7-30 days, with inherent delays.)
